A short film about Callum Abbott's work and studio life by film-maker and friend, Bradley Martin, as part of his 2019 Meet Your Maker series.

About

Callum Abbott works across drawing, collage, performance, sound and sculpture. From the immediacy of mark-making to the juxtaposition of printed imagery, Abbott’s 2D work is tactile and visceral and has inspired his journey into live art and sculpture. Gestural actions find their roots in drawing and these drawings can become sculptures. Graphic yet bodily, spontaneous yet composed, Abbott puts the life into abstraction and allows us into a world of his own.
